Another possible leak area on the 1961 Airflyte Reissue

Check the marker light areas for proper fit. They drilled an inch and a half hole to run two wires out of and if the light is not centered over it properly, you could definitely have a leak issue. On mine it's clear the light was attached incorrectly and exposed part of the hole behind it. They make a botched effort to fix it with silicone, so I removed it and decentered the light to cover the hole.

Wow. Seems a bit overkill to drill a 1.5" hole for two thin wires.

Good catch on your part and fixing it before you have trouble.
