Is the axle recall true?

A facebook page is reporting an upcoming recall of the axles... I just dropped my Airflyte off to have the shackles added, and Camping World knows nothing about it. I've asked them to call FR, but so far they haven't gotten a response. I'd like to get the proper fix done while it's there. Any thoughts?

karrun, the Shasta Reissues are a reproduction model trailer, copying the 1961 Shasta Airflytes.....hence why all threads concerning these trailers are in the Collectible, Retro, and Reproduction forum topic. They are also limited to a production run of 1941 units (as 1941 was the year Shasta was established). These are some extremely unique and limited trailers.

If Forest River ever decides to do something similar with other lines, they also will most likely be put in this thread topic. Hope this helps on understanding why they are in this topic.

My mistake. I saw 2016 models and assumed. Thanks for the correction.

Was there a post yesterday showing the exact problem to some ones trailer? Maybe he needs this recall info It may be his problem?

The recall is in Canada so far. A search of the NTSB might be in order to check on US recalls.
