I have found numerous spots around the window trim that need more of that putty like sealant, does anyone know what this is or where to get it?
Also, under the camper, I found many holes not sealed, they used black expanding foam in some places, should I use the same or is any foam from HD fine?
Actually the sealant around the windows is a spongy foam sealant, at least it is on my 16ft seafoam camper. It probably came in a roll with a sticky side to apply it to the window frame. Now if yours is putty, like it is on the outer trim, then that is gray butyl tape that you can get at any RV store. Call your dealer to see what they would recommend for the windows in order not to void any warranties. As far as underneath, a can of fill and foam will work, it is not the same color, but it will work.
Thanks for the comments, I picked up a can of Great Stuff Pond and Stone expanding sealant. From what I can tell it is a polyurethane based closed cell foam/sealant. It is black like the other stuff used on the camper and is UV resistant... I'll go to town on the bottom of the camper with that.
