This is a nightmare 2015 Airflyte

Here are a few picts to my original post (2015 Airflyte quality and design issues)
This is a Nightmare looks like we wont make our first trip this year to much repair work to do and driving back to the state i bought it from is out of the question !!!! And after i looked above tires to see the scrub marks everybody was talking about errrr they are there this explains the wheel well seams separating
good luck getting tire off ah no ut ah no matter how high you jack it up
I was not going to post these picts in my original post 2015 Airflyte quality and design issues) But after i tried taking the wheel off and seen the tire scrub now i am fuming this whole deal is totally unacceptable from any manufactures stand point and certainly not acceptable from a consumer stand point Thanks Shasta if i wanted a back yard hack job i woulda bought something from well enough said Buyers beware time to repair! i have all the holes plugged now onto the re modifaction of the springs and axecel ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
It Is a purdy trailer if you dont crawl underneath it or want to haul it nice yard ornament

The 2015 Airflyte is a retro trailer, supposedly reproducing a 1960's Shasta.

It is a reproduction of the 1961 Shasta. This is the appropriate section, and we actually made it for these reproduction Shastas for the most part. These are some extremely unique trailers.

What's unique about them is the shoddy workmanship and quality control. This is a Dirty Shame.

you got that right a down right criminal shame that such horrible work can be sold to the public my camper had had TONS of problems and got me kicked out of the reissue official page.. nothing but lies and bad workmanship! i dont have a one piece roof my camper was super unsafe to pull it was sitting so low on the tires and its still very low with the shasta shackle kit fix one side is 2.5" clearance and the other side is just below 2"... wrong stickers on campers passenger tires instead of camper tires and yes they do make a white wall trailer tire so i dont under stand the car tire use....

poor engineering and workmanship!

My wife wanted one of these 16' retros so we bought one. the very first thing I noticed was the pretty door hiding the inverter didn't have a vent hole in it! I pointed that out to the salesman who said, ''Oh, yeah, I guess you're right...'' that was the same response I got from the shop advisor when I took it in to have a 5" hole cut in the door.
The second thing I noticed was the propane bottle rack was loose and the poorly positioned regulator had rubbed a hole all the way thru the metal skin. And that occurred only from the trip from the factory to north Texas.
I must admit the dealer did a great job replacing the whole bottom skin on the front of the Shasta. I took it upon myself to reposition the propane bottle and regulator so they won't rub anymore.
The dealer had 3 other 16' shastas on the lot and all 3 had varying degrees of damage to the front skin caused by the bottle rack/regulator/hose. What a shame.
