I actually took my driver's license test in a '69 VW bus. I didn't do so well on the parallel parking, but he forgave me when the engine died, and I pulled it over to fix it (a loose wire in the engine somwhere...can't remember where now). But then we had to push start it. Yes sir, old Bubba in Canton TX helping an 18 year old long-haired hippie push start a '69 VW bus. It was awesome. I turned around and picked him up, and we headed back to the courthouse where he passed me. There's a memory one will never forget!!

I would have passed you, too. If you're capable of fixing the engine, I'd imagine you're capable of driving it.
