16fb air conditioner

This is our first trip in the Wolf Pup 16fb. The air conditioner runs continuously and it so loud! We've tried all different settings on the dials. Is there a quieter setting? Is it supposed to run all the time? What is the wall thermostat for?

It depends on the temp outside. Yes they are loud.

No, nothing is wrong. Basically you have an ac running to beat the heat, and it's on top of and feeding into a 15 foot open box. No doors to close or block the noise.
Others will chime in about "quieter" models/brands of ac, but their not going to make much difference in your unit.
Just one of the downfalls of rv ac units.

Mine is loud, too. The wall thermostat is for the heater.
