Nice! We picked ours up on October 4 and have only used it once. I like the doors on yours!

Nice looking unit. I am getting my 2014 29bh this Saturday. I have never owned a trailer before....hopefully the family will enjoy it. I just hope my2008 Chevy Avalanche won't struggle to much.

Thank you!!!.

make sure you get a good weight distribtuion hitch with sway control. depending on how many people are in the avalanche you might be over your max payload. bring to the scales when you get it. do yuo havw yuor truck specs? payload, towing capacity and gear ratio?

We have the 2013 29BH that we pull with a Ford Expedition. It does Okay. You definitely know it's there going down the highway. As long as I keep it around 60 it does fine, at 65 or 70 it can start to tail whip.

Thanks for the tips. I have a 3.73 gear and can pull 7200lbs. I also purchased a equi-li-zer hitch (has the sway system inclu.) And I have a tranny cooler so hopefully that will be enough. I am picking it up at the border in Michigan ( 8 hrs drive)

I will let you know how it goes.

That will be close, be careful. The expedition is rated at 8660. That said, I can't imagine pulling that weight with our car. We won't be taking any long trips until we get a heavy duty truck.

If you want to control sway get yourself a common run of the mill WDH. If you want to totaly eliminate the sway, Propride is the way to go. Worth the extra coin, and when you are done with it, you can get most of the cost back.

just watch your payload and gvwr of the avalanche. we are at the upper end of our payload and gvwr of our tv. we too aren't planning any long trips until we can put an HD pickup in front of it. we have very similar setups I opted to get the blue ox sway pro hitch

Same here, we have the Fastway e2 10000 lbs four point hitch. I can't imagine towing without it.

Now.....should I start to be worried a bit?? I spoke to a Service guy from GM and same stated that I should be fine but not to exagerate too much when stepping on it. As I mentioned, this is my first trailer and I hope I can enjoy the experience, camping and towing

I have only had mine a few months and have not weighed it, but I figure loaded out it is probably weighing around 7000 to 7500 pounds actual weight.

I think you will be ok. I would just watch how much you put in the avalanche, that all gets taken off your payload.

here are my numbers

gvwr - 6700 lbs
base weight - 5300 ( this includes 150 lb driver - my wife and daughter equal that)
the only thing I am adding to the base weight is me ( 220) gas (120) and the tongue weight of the trailer(910 lbs - 13% of what I figure the trailer weighs loaded 7000 lb)
so I'm at 6550 lb
