I have a 17 Cherokee Limited 247DBH which is close to your model and it has a Dometic 13.5K a/c. I also checked F.R. and checked there and they had listed a 13.5K a/c for your model.

Have you ever powered your trailer / AC with a generator?

I have this exact model. My a/c is a dometic 15k unit. I have not run mine on a generator though.

I can run my water heater and air conditioner with a 7500 generator. It doesn't even phase it. I have a 26dbh with a 15k air conditioner.

I have a Champion duel fuel 3500 watt. Runs the A/C on high & television& fridge. Have to turn to low to use microwave. If I want hot water I use propane tanks on trailer. I have separate propane tank for generator. It's not too heavy so I can pick it up by myself. Added a mechanical hour meter to generator. More work than a digital hour meter, but I didn't want to worry about having to replace the battery in the hour meter. Overall pleased with the generator.
