2020 Grey Wolf 18MT

Just got a 2020 18MT and haven’t seen anyone else post about one yet. I think it is a new floor plan for 2020 as I can’t even find it in the brochure. Anyone else have one?? Definitely seeing some shortcuts they made during construction...shower floor is pretty wonky and isn’t draining right but otherwise I am really excited as this is our very first travel trailer.

I've got one as well. Picked it up in May from AC Nelsen in Shakopee, MN.

I haven't had any issues with the shower floor, but be sure and reinforce the bottom of the cabinet in the bathroom that's above the outside kitchen if you plan on storing anything more than toilet paper in there. The whole thing is only supported by little stapled on 1x1s around the perimeter.

I also had an issue with the AC not cooling as well as I'd like. I had to adjust the thermostat so it wouldn't cut out so early, and since then, it's been great.

We also replaced the murphy bed mattress with a foam mattress from Amazon. It was pretty uncomfortable before that.

We do a fair bit of boondocking, so I replaced the single 12 volt battery with two 6 volt golf cart batteries as well.

All in all, we love ours, and have used it probably 5 or 6 weekends so far. It tows nicely, and has everything we need. There are always some modifications to be made with these things, and I don't mind doing them. For the price, I think it is a great unit.

Thank you for the tip on the bathroom cabinet! We have a big plastic tote in there with supplies already, I didn’t even look to see what is holding it up. Glad to hear things are going well with yours. We have only spent a couple nights in it and only had a 15amp power supply so we weren’t able to test out the a/c...but I agree the mattress is pretty rough! Haha

Looks nice. We have a 2018 17bhse limited and are loving it. Knock on wood, not one issue. Funny, heard nothing but bad things and was Leary at going with FR but, so far so good. May help with the beefed up options.....heavy floor, cabinets, better wheels, tires........ As others mentioned, relax and enjoy!....vic.Click image for larger version
