26DBH Wattage Allowed?

We are picking up our 26DBH in one week. What wattage appliance can we run? I'm looking for a blender and the wife needs to know for a hair dryer.

hair dryer is one of the biggest power hogs there is. Along with the AC in the 30 amp camper almost guarantees a blown breaker

30amp service will give you around 3300watts to play with. Right off the top though you'll have loads that would take away from that. Ie., converter/charger, reefer, water heater, etc...

You can get by all right, but like David said.. you can really only have 1 heavy load (microwave, A/C, hair dryer, space heaters, slide motor, etc.) at a time.

Just as an example.. you're A/C is going to need somewhere around 3000watts to kick over, then, depending on the size, 1500-2000watts while running. A microwave will drink around 1000watts when in use. It just takes a little planning.

Thanks! That's what I needed to know. I understand we'll have to juggle the bigger things. Just wasn't sure if a 1000watt blender would kill something on it's own!

The nice thing about having a bathroom exit door is that you can run a separate cord to the power tower to run a hair dryer without blowing the TT circuit.
