27bh cargo carrier hitch
Hello. I would like to use the vertical hitch on the back of my 2013 27bh to mount my grill for travel.
The hitch receiver seems to be 1.5" so too big for a 1.25" hitch and too small for a 2". Does anyone know where i could find a spacer to make a 1.25" fit?
Also, had anyone actually mounted anything to this hitch before? My grill weighs about 150lbs.
Thank you

150lb grill?.... That just about maxis out the platform with the spare on it...but anyway the hardware section in the "big" home stores has a metal kiosk you might be able to find a bar there that may step it down, or find a metal fab shop in your area they can make a piece for you for under $15. Good luck.

That's not a hitch!
A arm goes in that to secure bikes.

Do you have any problem with the spare tire rubbing the road while traveling with it mounted to the cargo rack?

I have not. But I also lifted my trailer. I would not try before, it was too close for. Comfort. I took it off when I needed the rack before the lift.
