Lets see what you have done to your rig. I just picked up a 2016 and the very first thing I did was secure the battery. I don't want my very expensive battery growing legs. I spent a total of $14 on hardware, 15 minutes welding, and a padlock i found laying around my garage.

So my 2015 Silverado 2500 HD was not charging the trailer battery while in-tow. After a little research I realized the towing package comes pre-wired for it but they don't include the fuse to make the charging pin work. Looking under the fuse box cover i noticed fuse 1, 2, 14, 15,16, and 17 are all for the trailer. I placed a order online for a micro JCASE 30 Amp fuse to replace the dummy in location #2. I really hope that does the trick because the darn micro fuse was not easy to find.

Master battery power switch.

So I didn't find a master battery power switch anywhere on the coach where i could disconnect the battery for storage. The newly installed switch can be seen on post #2 of this thread.

Had the same problem...the fuse was in the glove box. Not sure why the dealer didn't install it.

If I recall correctly, earlier trucks had a jumper wire that had to be connected in order for the hot line to work at the trailer plug. I think his was covered in the manual.

I purchased and installed the fuse this weekend. Mine was not in the glovebox. I will text it out next weekend and see if it actually worked.
