99 Cerokee Travel Trailer

Just bought a 99 Cherokee travel trailer, yet did not come with the correct manual. I plan on taking it out this coming weekend, yet I am having trouble figuring out how to get the water heater running on both had and electric. Also not sure if the stove is self igniting or if I will always need to lite it myself. If anyone could assist it would be greatly appreciated.

What model and brand hw heater?

Are you trying to light the stove or the burners?

The stove is most likely manual light.
The burners could be either or .

We figured out the stove was manual lite, the burners seem to be the same. The water heater looks to be from Suburban Manufacturing.

Models on water heater can be SW6P SW6PE SW6PR or SW6PER according to manual, not actually specified. Don't see anything on the heater itself.

Gas option should be inside with a red light by it

Electric option will be outside on hw heater lower left side.

We got it figured out, turns out there was a lose wire preventing the pilot from lighting. Thanks for your help!

Obviously hw heater should be full of water and purged of air before use.

Electric and gas can be used at the same time.
