A lot of people use their battery for some time then decide that they want to add another one,keeping what they started out with. If it’s a 24 then the choices are buy a second group 24 which will be newer and roughly double your power or replace the group 24 with a good deep cycle group 31 and roughly double your power. I would go with the second option if my group 24 is more than 6-8 months old. What should be avoided is mixing sizes, that just won’t work right at all, either charging or discharging.
