Another bike rack thread, different method?

Just ordered via eBay two of the bicycle front fork holders. I'm going to mount them on the factory rear rack to hold SWMBO & my bikes. Saving the weight of the 2x2" bumper hitch mount and the 30-40# Reese hitch mount 3 bike carrier. Front tires will ride inside the TT or TV. The fork holders come with fork clamps (note:some do not) and two U bolts each. I will replace the bolt nuts with Nylocs if they aren't to start with. I will run some strapping though the rack grating and through the rear wheels.
Note to self: weigh the spare tire & bikes. Rack limit 200#
If I took my generator along, I'd strap the rear wheels on the top of that �� But I would have to carry the spare elsewhere since the generator weighs 108#, just checked!
