Awning problem

When I raise my awning arms with the lift handles, the pins don't appear to be long enough to engage the pin in the awning arm and keeps dropping down. I have used a bolt to keep it up for now, but is there a cure for this. Can I get new lift handles with longer pins. Thanks

Coot, what do you want pictures of, the lift handle? I have tried to post a pic, but it says the pics are too big, I don't know how to shrink them. I have edited my post to make it easier to understand. I don't describe things very well. Thanks for the help.

Been years since I had a manual awning and don't recall a handle with a pin, I think ours had a pin we had to insert after pulling it up where we wanted it.

thats it, but the pins dont seem long enough to go into the other hole on the awning arm and the arm falls down. Unless I'm doing something wrong. I can see the pin, but it isn't going in far enough.

Something under the handle to prevent it from engaging? I really don't have a clue without a picture of the handle you're talking about.

seems like the "pin" you are talking about might need a little lube or cleaner applied to it...and..worked in & out for awhile to help it pop out when needed ?

The interface for pictures is NOT drag and drop.

You must "attach" the photos using the paperclip (or use a photo sharing service like photobucket.com or Flicker.com)

The entire post is limited to 10 megs so if your photos is larger than that you must make it smaller. Attcxh ONE photo at a time if they are very large.
