This is the direction I am heading in as well. I need a GPS and lifetime maps is worth the price of admission on its own. There is an RV version offered by Garmin and I have always loved my other Garmin units. I also like the idea that everything is rolled into one unit for convenience.

We got the furrion observation/back up camera. Installed clean in 2 minutes. Synced right up. We like it.

I assume this is a wireless system and when FR says pre wired backup camera ready it is just a 12V plug. Is this correct?

I don't have the pre-wired mount on my Cherokee but it seems like I could use the center light location. Was yours pre-wired?

Mine is wireless. The camera was pre-wired on my 26dbh. You could easily tie into the center break light.

Mine had casing for Furrion camera, dealer sold me the backup camera and told me it would work as observation camera. It wouldn't hold the connection at highway speeds so upgraded to the Observation camera. Easy hookup-4 screws and a plug. Haven't tried it yet but it had decent reviews.

Was your pre-wired 12v supply wire hot all the time or did something trigger it to come on? (back-ups/running lights)

My Furrion Observation Camera FOS48TA-BL is pre-wired on my V-lite to operate when the trailer marker/clearance lights are on. I really like the camera. Works great.

Backup camera

I am installing a third party camera into the furrion port but forgot to take note which wire connects to the green and white wires (the camera has a black and red wire). Anyone know?
