Battery Charger?

I have a 2011 28bh Grey Wolf. What I suspect is the battery charger has a fan in it. I would only hear the fan when I would put more than 2 internal lights on. Now the fan runs 24/7, no lights on. Is anyone else having this happen in there campers? Does anyone have an idea why it is staying on?

Have you checked the battery for proper voltage?
Disconnect it and check the voltage.
Also if you disconnect shore power you should have 12 volt power.
If you don't battery is dead a a fuse/ breaker is tripped.
You need to do some investigating.

that's your converter, which has a built-in battery charger.
the fan is probably running constantly, because your battery is dead, low or bad.
do you have a battery disconnect switch? if you don't keep it plugged into shore power, the parasitic power drains will empty a battery in a few days.

i'm betting that the battery is bad, if you've kept it hooked up to shore power.

Just a reminder. Camped this weeked and on the camper next to us his battery blewup-gosh awful noise. Only thing we neighbors could think of is it was out of water and got over loaded-so please as part of your check list this spring check you battery.

Hi f100turbo and bikendan,
The camper is always plugged into shore power. I did check the battery voltage and I am getting a reading of 13v. I don't have a way to check the amps in the battery. I am thinking it is a bad battery or charger. I unplugged the shore power and disconnected the battery for about 20 minutes to check if it would reset but still the same.

let the battery sit overnite, unconnected and then check it by itself.
or get a hydrometer and check each cell.
