John, within 18 inches of your battery is a red rubber covered current limiter It has two threaded posts with terminal wires on it.

The wires get corroded and show "open" or they trip and need to be manually reset.

I will try and upload a photo.

John,

You should also find a good old household square junction box somewhere under the nose of the unit basically what f1100turbo was talking about. In there you will find a disaster of mega proportions as far as wiring if it is anything like ones I have seen. All maretted together and some only half tight. If Herks suggestion does not pan out look for the above. Also the brake switch can do you in as well except it would be draining your battery not stopping power from reaching the interior.

Problem Solved!!
A neighbor's boy agreed to help, crawled under the
TT & found the problem. [Proving not ALL teens are
a royal PITA. Some are friendly, helpful and decent
folks. Kinda like his parents...]

At any rate, he found a j-box and an auto-reset
breaker bolted to a C frame member. Showed him
how to use the multimeter and we verified the fact
that the Auto-Reset breaker had morphed into a
No-Reset Breaker! Picked up a new one and Jimmy
installed it.
I now have DC power inboard the TT. Hurrah......
Full 12 volts with minimum drop. Double Hurrah.

Please allow me to express my gratitude to him and to
all the folks here who helped get me on the right track.
I do thank you, muchly.

Now on to the next dern thing.........

Trailerus Rottenus Expremus.....ugh.

happy weekend.
