Bedroom Carpet, Blinds, and Bunkhouse Bed fix questions

Thanks in advance for any help. Did some searching and found a little but curious about ideas.

I am finally getting into cleaning up and doing some repairs on my 2008 Cherokee Grey Wolf 29BH+ model. It has the bunkhouse with a slide on each wall to expand the room. Great for my 3 kids. Here is where my questions start.

Two of the straps the OEM provided to hold the upper bunks up when you are using the couch below have broken (one on each side). I do not like the look or feel of the web straps and clips anyway. Does anyone have a suggestion of a better mechanism to lock them up when no one is using the upper bunk?

Two, the carpet in the master bedroom in the front really needs to be changed. I would like to rip it out and put in linoleum. It does go under the storage compartment below the bed. Can I just cut around that and rip out the old stuff and replace with sheet or stick down linoleum tiles?

Lastly, the 4 mini blinds in the bunkhouse are pretty much toast. Can I just remove them and replace them with ones from Home Depot or Lowes?

Thanks again for any help!

To hold up the beds, you could get some cheap belts (the pants kind). Cut them down to use the buckle and hole ends. Have the cut edges sewed to look nice. That would be a classy looking strap, depending on the look of the belts you used. Or you could tie some straps with paracord. Depending on the look you are trying to achieve.

I'd think you could just cut out the carpet and put down the linoleum tiles.
