Bikes on Grey Wolf rear rack, maybe??

Has anyone used the rear rack on their Grey Wolf to haul bikes? If so, how did you strap them in and space them apart so they didn't rub?

I've used ours tons. Love it, except for the reason you stated. It's impossible for us to get our four bikes on there without them rubbing against each other. I've thought about getting the tire racks that would help support them, but so far i've just strapped the heck outa them and to the one upright.
Hope that helps and let us know if you find a better way to secure them.

I have same problem. I'm trying to find one of those bike tire racks that mount to the ground a set for front tire and one for back tire and hold 3 or 4 bikes up rite. Then just strap down to rack.

I was thinking of something along the same lines as you, I just need some spare time to do some measurements and draw something up. For now I bolted the 2" receiver off our old camper to our Grey Wolf and I will just use our bike carrier.

I have used fork mount bikes carriers. Just bolt them to the wire grate and if you stagger them correctly, you can haul 4 bikes. It will be bit tight but the fork mount carriers work very well. I will try to post a pic in the next few days.

Bike Rack mount

Here is what I use to mount bikes on my Grey Wolf 26RL. I do NOT travel with the bikes on the rack with the spare tire sttached to the rack - way too much weight when bouncing down the road. I am sure the G force on the rack mount point would greatly exceed rated capacity. I am going this weekend and will post a pic w/bikes on the rack. There are two more mounts not shown but with bikes properly mounted I think you will like what you see.

Something like this with some u-bolts going through wire mesh. Make your own Bike Rack
