Brought it home yesterday

Finally got the Grey Wolf 26DHB home. We wanted to wait for mid-April so we'd have decent weather. Instead we had rain and high cross-winds. Then we got to work setting it up...

Mine is still covered in my driveway waiting for this nebraska blizzard to blow thru. Never had my trailers covered this late in April before. Spring ?? still winter here.

Congrats on your new Grey Wolf 26DBH Limited! At least you got an idea of how it handled driving with crosswinds. Glad you made it home OK! Hopefully it won't be long before you can get it out of the driveway and into a campground.

They're calling for more ice for us now, not much snow, if any.

We got her set up before it got crazier. Well, everything except water because of the temperatures. The rain got much heavier along with the winds last night. Good test - we spent the night in it and not a single leak, everything was fine. Our son-in-law is wiring a 30 amp circuit for it today.

Get the water hooked up, adjust the WDH, personalize and we'll be ready to go!

Love our grey wolf. BUT love our floor plan better. We live in Florida and did not want a wall blocking the AC. The really small vent did not work for us. We choose ( the best layout) 27rr toy hauler

Congrats!! We brought ours home Wednesday with winds gusting to 35. Was the most I have ever felt a camper move. Note, never towed in winds that high either. Glad we have a Hensley!

We got the 30 amp wired up yesterday. I don't think I'll be testing the AC unit anytime soon.

What you see is mostly sleet. Getting some snow bursts now, too.

I remember the Forest River rep telling us how the upper Midwest is a real hotbed for RV sales, so I know there are a lot of you out there that are really done with this winter. North and West of here - well over a foot of snow, blizzard conditions.

We brought our Roo home on Friday with high winds (a bit more challenging than the old pup) and then got about 12" of snow. We're just NW of Minneapolis. Had hoped to spend some time in it. Maybe next week.Click image for larger version

Glad you made it home safe. We had freezeing rain and roads here were really slick yesterday. Today I went out to ours to unlock it and start getting ready for Friday and I had to get the torch out and thaw the lock. Now we will be loading up in near blizzard condtions

Identical weather here across the pond in West Michigan. Hard to believe we start our camping season in 1 month.
