Like others I was unimpressed with the rear fold down cargo rack. Without vertical support for bikes, camp table, chair or two, it seemed almost useless. Here are some pics of a mod I completed to add that needed vertical support. The four support arms fold down when not in use and are held in place by 1/4 in. push pins. The top piece which holds everything together when in use is the only piece stored elsewhere. It is also the one piece I had made due to the welding of the end caps. The materials are available from a steel supplier and local hardware. It took a day from design to completion but could be done in half that time. Bikes can be added before the top cap goes on.
