Steve, my dinette drawers don`t have the slides either, i think it`s because they can hold more weight than the other drawers. the glides would probably break with that much weight on them.

Thanks Dodge guy. I suppose that was the way they are intended. I just wondered if they forgot..... I wonder if I should put some wax or linseed oil or something to help it slide. It made an ugly noise somewhat like fingernails on chaulk board.

friends of mine have had there Chrokee since new in 2002 with "0" problems !!! I got stuck with a sh----ty crew on a monday .
