Cherokee 304bh

Picked up this cherokee TT at the local RV show over the winter. Took delivery about a month ago. Had her out for her maden voyage this Memorial Day. Really like this trailer and feel like we got a great deal. Some minor issues but the dealer has been great.

Nice Trailer... Looked up the specs, that is a MONSTER!! Is that a 1500 or 2500 pulling it and how does it pull?

2500 duramax. It pulls it no problem. Have it tuned getting about 13 mpg towing pretty near 10k

Well yeah I guess with a diesel.... I am torn between the 6.0 or duramax when TV replacement time comes in a few years.

I was torn as well. I had a 1500 w the 5.3. It towed a smaller trailer ok but was a dog on gas and braking wasn't the best with a max load. The 2500 has much better braking IMO and the diesel makes all the difference. You almost never have the hard shifts you get with a gas truck when pulling in mountain areas( all we have here). Worth the investment

Being a weekend warrior just not sure the $7300 cost. I am sure I will cross that road in a few years when I sit down and run the numbers for cost v gain. Thanks for the info. Our 1500 pulls the 30ft trailer fine but I will be doing the 2500 next time just for a bit more.

I towed mine with my old 1500 and it worked fine. It worked pretty hard on some passes but was OK.. I upgraded to a 2008 GMC2500 Duramax and it made all the difference in the world. Hardly even know that the trailer is behine me!!
