Cherokee Wolf Pup 17 RR

Hi. I was just looking for some opinions from owners of the Cherokee Wolf Pup 17 RR. I have only been able to find one review online. I realize this is a new model, but I hoping there are some people on this forum that may own one. Any opinions on the other models of Wolf Pups would be welcome as well. Thanks for your help.

We looked at the wolf pups but bought a RPod. We liked the setup better. Check them out if your looking at a lightweight trailer.

I too recently purchased a 17RR. I have two issues that I haven't been able to rectify yet one being the TV Antenna. When the antenna was mounted it was put to close to the air conditioner. Because it is so close the installer actually bent part of the antenna so it would lay flat against the air conditioner. The relationship of the antenna to the air conditioner also prevents the manual rotation adjustment from operating. The second is the amount of room for your toys. I purchased mine with the intent of hauling my motorcycle however the placement of the tie downs are too far to the rear for the motorcycle. The space available for the motorcycle appears to be to short also.

Welcome to the forum Westone,

I can't comment about the antenna issues, I didn't get a TV and haven't used the antenna.

Totally agree with you about the terrible placement of the tiedown spots. I understand it's a very tight spot, and because I was a bit lazy when tieing down my ATV I allowed it to bugger up the sink cabinet. Fotunately I got lucky and the damage was minor.

I have a full size dresser BMW bike which I hope to be able to tow. A wheel chock will be a must. Crossing my fingers I too can may it work.

There is also a several-page long thread going in the Toy Hauler forum on the Wolf Pups in general (a lot of crossover between the two models).
