clothes washer

Need some help please. I have a 255RR TH. Been thinking about some options for minimizing trips to laundry by having some type of washer and drier in the camper.
In my prior Motorhome, it had a Splendi (Sp?) washer/drier combo unit that I really liked. The 255 does not have a lot of room for one of these so I have been looking at the much smaller washers and driers. They seem to be very compact and lite. I wonder if anyone has experience with these small units.
I understand that they could probably only do Socks, Undies or T shirts. Jeans and Towels would still require a laundry mat visit.

That unit is small enough, Is there already plumbing and a vent stack installed or is that the next part of this project? If not installed that would sure up the cost of in-house laundry. good luck

Don't like the combo unit, but we have the Splendide washer and the dryer. We wash everything we have, and it does great. I fought it for a year, DW demanded it, and she was right. It makes life way more enjoyable, and there's nothing it won't wash well.

This has two baskets - one for washing, one for spinning. YOU need to take the clothes out of one basket and put into the other basket. That just seems like too much of a hassle. There are others that do not require this, but are a tiny bit more in cost. I'll see if I can find the others - I've been searching for something along those same lines.


ON EDIT: Take a look at this one. Slightly larger, but you just have to put clothes in and it does it's thing. You can put it in the shower and it will drain into shower if you don't have a hookup already available.

Thanks for replies. I liked both suggestions even though they were at complete ends of types of washers.
I like the simple type where you manually agitate the clothes. They are simple and very lite weight with almost zero chances of breaking down.
Then the sit on the couch and eat cookies part of me that likes the powered put the clothes in and let it do the work type.
I will continue digging and let you know what I decide.
