Dealership Warranty Work Can I change Dealers?

All-

I have had a horrible experience with warranty work on my 2013 Grey Wolf 26DBH. I am not mad or upset that this issue occured, however the dealer was notified on 7/30, and finally completed work on 9/27? I recieved a lot of excuses over this time frame, and canceled several trips. I had a trip planned for this weekend, and they were going to get it done for me.... More excuses, and finally it all came to a head 9/27. They told me it was going to be close, but the weren't sure if they would get it all done, I asked if they could have their guys work some OT to fix, and the owner refused? Poor customer service in my mind? Had 2 months to fix this camper, and wouldn't work a lick of OT to help me out. The did get it done, craftmanship was poor.

Can I change dealers for service and still have Warranty work done by a dealer who I didn't purchase from? If so, who in the Wabash, Marion Indiana area can do Service work on my Grey Wolf? Thanks for your help.

I switched from a hitchicker II to a 2013 rockwood dimond signature ultra lite and the unit is great looking but the a/c unit does not keep the camper cool there was times this summer it was over 94 inside and the ac ran all day and into the nite 15000 btu ac 30 amp service after some research I came up with the color (brown) plus the 4.5 inches of foam insulation in the roof=R14 this unit will never cool on a 95 degree day wonder what it will do this fall? forest river said it has over 30 other folks with same problem and they are looking into it they even tried a second a/c it a test and it caused one or the other to freeze up guess we will see how they handle this and if I will stay a forest river customer?

You can go to any forest river selling dealer to get warranty work done.
Although they don't have to do it.............. a good dealer should be able to help you out.
Contact forest river with your concerns with your current dealer.
I'm sure someone will be along with a number .

Welcome to the forum !

Oh, no, I'm not mad at FR, it's the dealer that is the problem! FR did make some mistakes in this situation, but they were cooperative and did what they could and were up front and honest.

My point is call them and remind them about your issues with the dealer .
Let fr know how they treated you.

Can you provide any contact info on who you talked to that provided this information.

We were told the entire linoleum floor was going to be replaced due to a tear in it from the slide you... it was spliced, and we specifically requested that it not be spliced? We were told by the dealer that FR approved the replacement of the entire floor, but that is not what the dealer did? Please help! Again, I'm not upset with FR, but this dealership is a joke.

i contacted the Rockwood Roo rep. you should be able to find a number for the division of your brand.
also, look through the brand section under TT/5th Wheels and see if someone has posted the name of your brand's rep.

or go to the Forest River contact info Sticky.
or ask who the rep is from the dealer you bought from.
