Does Wolf Pup come with trailer brakes?

Considering purchasing a Wolf Pup 16BHS. Does anyone know if it comes with trailer brakes?

Yes.
All trailers, generally 2000lbs+, are required to have them.
You are also required to have a brake contoller.

Hmmmm, ok. It's strange that it doesn't specifically say anywhere in the description or literature for the Wolf Pup trailer that it has brakes.

Not sure why it would be needed to be mentioned, since it's required by law.

Not like it's an option or you had a choice between drum or disc brakes.

Everything you want to know about trailer brake laws in different states:
State and Province Towing Laws - NSA RV Products

I have a TowPro (a Forest River company) 6x12' enclosed utility trailer with a 5,000 pound axle. It was delivered without brakes and is stickered at 2,976 pounds . I wonder if FR sold this same trailer in a different state would it have a different weight limit on the sticker.

Thanks everybody...appreciate the help! Glad to know I won't have to install brakes.

Yes. We just purchased a 2016 Wolf Pup 16FQ, it definitely has brakes. Already had a brake controller on both my Jeep and my F-150 from the pop-up we had previously for 12 years.

If you've never adjusted a brake controller, Tekonsha has great YouTube videos. We listened to them on audio in the truck as we adjusted the brakes. Fb16
