On my Grey Wolf 26dbh, there are two drawers facing the sofa that go under the sink. The top one is designed terribly. The only support for the drawer is at the front of the cabinet secured by a couple staples. This has worked loose and the drawer closes at an angle and wobbles all over. It is wearing the finish off my cabinet where the top of the drawer bangs against it since it won't close flush.
We would need to see the drawer, but I'm generally a proponent of replacing the drawer slides and beefing up the framing inside. It can be extra work, but it is usually worth it.
Just don't be like me and use a screw that's was much longer on a slide floor... I have a pretty deep gouge in my vinyl floor now.
