factory rack on 28BH

Wondering how many if us use the factory find down bike rack on the rear if the grey wolf series. My tt is a 2012 28BH"patriot" (AC Nelsons Edition)& after reading all the problems with bumper bike racks, wondering if I should be concerned about using it?
Any thoughts on the factory installed rack?

I've not used mine as of yet (still getting used to that long/big/heavy a TT so why make it bigger yet?) but from what I've read about add on racks they're not recomended whereas this one is much more part of the TT and the mounts are beefier than the receiver type racks I"ve seen and they work fine.

It's only rated for 250 lbs if i recall and bikes are what, 30lbs or less? If you put 4 on there you'd be well under the rating.

Your grey wolf probably is not an ultra-lite. That's why they installed a factory setup.
Should have a weight limit on it, though.

mine has a weight limit posted on it of 450 lbs .
i use it for coolers full of beer !

Thanks for the replies. It does have a weight rating of 300lbs I think. We've hauled for bikes on it and our seemed fine. Just wanted to get some re-assurance.
