Factory won’t help

Factory won’t help. After previously owning a Sierra from Forest River, great unit, wanted to stick with them. In May 2017 I bought a new arctic wolf 285drl4 shortly after I purchased it June noticed water stains in every panel In the lower living room area Of the trailer. I took it back to the dealer in September when they could fit me in. I was told it was too Extensive, it would have to go back to the factory. To make a long story short, after two Different dealers refer me back to the factory and four factory reps, a multitude of phone calls and one year later the factory did nothing to help me. I now have an expensive fifth wheel with water stains everywhere, probably mold and no one will help. Very disappointed in Forest River. Buyer beware

Now after the 1 year Warrantee is over is a Bad Time to come on here and look for Help! When your Original "Selling Dealer" said it needed to go back to Factory that should have been the End! Why would you need another Dealer involved? Who were the "Factory Reps You talked to? You bought in May of 2017,had Issues in June of 2017,then in Sept of 2017 your Dealer said it needs to "Go Back to Factory"! There is a BIG Gap in this Story Line for you to be on here in June of 2018 looking for Help! Youroo!!

I agree. Why the procrastination with sending it to the factory?

Why wouldn't they? What was the reason? There's a lot of information missing here.

no help from factory

I know how that goes. Forest River Factory is useless. I have had so many problems with mine it should have never left the factory in the first place. the rear of mine was delaminating. the window was broken. the air conditioning is broken. The factory rep said all sorts of feel good things. Now never returns my calls and no help.

Never by there product.

The window and A/C can be fixed by your dealer, why isn't he fixing your issues? Why didn't you catch those issues during your PDI and why did you take delivery with a unit that had a broken window?

BTW, Forest River is the corporate name, your RV is made by Flagstaff.

Agree, missing some large gaps of information. Im not saying it just yet, but seems like trolling. This could have been fixed "quickly" if you had the dealer have it shipped back to factory for repair and possibly replacement.

Again, you are not posting the full story so it will lead us all to believe the issue might actually be a "Code 18" (Problem is 18 inches from your screen)

For me they told me they don't fix things like that at the factory that I had to have my dealer do it. The owner at my dealer is an ahole. I got them to fix the window and the delaminating rear end. I'll work on fixing all the other problems on my own.

Who ever manufacturer of Ac is who you call. Ask for an authorized repair facility, call em up and make an appointment. Done it three time for my Ac, was not selling dealer
