Fixed my slideout

I've got to give kudos to Mike at Forest River. I wrote a letter to the company detailing the troubles we had last year with our new Cherokee 2011.... The slide out did not work most of the time with me having to go under and manually getting it out. I was NOT happy. By the time we got back home the tires on one side were starting to go bald. Mind you, we only traveled from Fl. To NY. Letter written and send we got a call within 2 weeks from Mike. He wanted to make things right. We only asked to find an authorizes dealer that we could take it to on Long Island but Mike wanted to have it p/u and go back to the factory in In. As promised Wayne showed up on 10/15 and departed with our "baby". 10 days later Mike phoned and said all is done. Yeah !!!!!!

Slideout fixed continued

The slide out bar was twisted so replaced. The axle was changed out to a heavier one and 5 new tires put on.a new gas bottle cover added as well as a toy lock. Caulking redone in bathroom and resealed the roof. The + slide out topper and new stereo and to top it off replaced the carpet. Cost... ZERO. Above and beyond. THANKS MIKE! Everyone will hear of the generosity of Forest River. Your customer service is THE BEST😃

Good deal! Nice to know that Forest River really trys to do right by the customer!

Probably good they have it with the storm coming too

Glad to hear that went well, I dropped mine off today at the dealer to go back to the factory.

Big Dawg, What was the problem that the dealer could not repair? If you do not mind sharing. I'm glad to hear that FR will step up to the plate when needed............

From the water damage, we have lots of damage to the cabinets and trim around the tables. There was also some wear around the wheel wells that need some repairs. They want a chance to make things right and keep us happy.

wish we could have sent out crusader 270ret back to the factory...would like for them to take a look at our slideout, maybe they can find out why it does not extend intermitely..

We do not have an authorized dealer near by so we wrote a letter. We only wanted to find an authorized dealer near us but FR stepped up and went above and beyond.
