Grey Wolf slideout leaking issue

We took our new 2013 28BH to Gulf State this past week. Had a thunderstorm come up during the first night. I woke up during the night to a sound of water dripping. When I got up and turned the light on, there was a water fall pouring from the skylight. It was actually coming in like someone had a water hose above the skylight. I moved the slide in and could push the glass up on the skylight. It was only sealed on 1 side. I had a friend that was camping with us that had the adhesive to fix the skylight the next day. It wasn't fun drying the carpet and cushions out the next day. I borrowed enough box fans to dry everything out. Will take it to a dealer this week to make sure it is sealed correctly.

I have a 2011 28bh. My unit now has a leak somewhere in the slide out. I called the dealership and asked if there was any known problems. The customer service guy said no. Funny, my buddy has a brand new 26' Grey Wplf that they are replacing the side of. No known problems??? Unfortunately for me, mine is not under warranty now. I guess I'll trade it in on a different brand. I hate being lied to.

I have the 2013 grey wolf 26rl, my slide leaked in the stowed position when I bought it last year, water was leaking from gutter down into slide cause of leaves damning up gutter. I cleaned out the gutter and have Not had a problem since. What I need and you probley need is an awning over slide that would help out a lot

Maybe this has been covered, but to rid of the puddle on top of the slide, this is what we used to do with the motorhomes. Drop one end of the RV, let water run off, pick it back up level then pull the slides in. Easy enough to do with a towable. Just drop or raise the front jack until it all runs off, then bring it back level to pull the slides in.

We've never had a problem with the water on the slide awning by just rolling the slide in. The water just runs off when the slide retracts. However, I did re-tension the awning about 8 turns and water does not collect nearly as bad nor does the awning flutter in the wind as bad.

We had the awnings as well. Even then, due to low angle, the longer ones would pool. Didn't want to tighten them any more as they were pretty darn tight already. To prevent having to bring slides in while camping, we'd just use the HWH to dump them. I was thinking on his without them, and removing water that way.

If you haven't tightened them or the dealer hasn't, they aren't all that tight from the factory I can assure you.
