LED Backup Lights are the answer
Here is what I put in my pitiful over stove light... The incandescent really didn't do the job, drew too many amps, got hot. I tried different LED's but just bright white and didn't do anything to illuminate the stove top. Then I tried a Backup Light. WOW. Now it is great for illuminating stove top and area, also great to leave on and have other lights off. Got it on Amazon. iBrightstar Newest 9-30V Super Bright Low Power T15 912 W16W 921 LED Bulbs with Projector replacement for Back Up Reverse Lights, Xenon White
