Hose insulation

Going camping this weekend. Temperature going to be in the low 20 -30 at night. Wondering what kind of insulation does anybody use on the hose that connects city water to camper.

I've seen people use foam pipe insulation. It's available in both 1/2" and 3/4" inside diameters.

Put some water in the fw tank, unhook/drain the hose at night and turn on the water pump if you're worried.

Yep, that's the way we do it when it gets below freezing at night.

I hate wasting water, but another tip is:

If you are on full hook up (water and sewer), run the cold water tap furtherest from the hookup. Just let it run lightly.....

We use the bathroom sink....
