Bought a 2010 wolf pup 17p trailer in great condition but can't figure out how to properly erect the tent-style awning. I see spring-rigged poles but they don't attach to the body of the trailer and just hang off the velcro straps. Who can help me with this?
I have a 2011 Wolf Pup 16p that should be similar. First time we set the awning up was a little frustrating but we got it. Just going off memory and my pictures but the adjustable poles with the black plastic feet and metal tie downs hold the awning up and I believe the horizontal poles are the spring loaded ones that are held up with the velcro. Make sure the awning has a downward slope from the trailer which will help keep the horizontal poles in place against the trailer wall. I am going camping next week so I will try to get better pictures showing which poles go where.
