Improvements to my new Wolf Pup 16FQ

We are getting ready for our maiden voyage with our Wolf Pup 16FQ next weekend.
Here is what I have added/improved so far.
Replaced crank jack with power jack
Added Camco bug screens
Added gas gauge to propane tank
Added Camco propane tank cover
Put lock on hitch
Added a 3” cool foam topper to the queen bed (it is hard!!!)
Put under mattress hanging storage pockets on each side
Added 6 tap/remote LED lights throughout
Installed paper towel holder and TP holder
Put stick on hooks in several areas
Installed a Bluetooth remote in/out thermometer
Replaced shower head with Oxygenics Fury
Installed a 19” TV
Future improvements will include;
Better tires
Adding a second 20lb propane tank
Solar panels or generator (maybe both)

I guess after a trip or two we will find some other things that need improving.

Wow all that and you haven't even taken it out. Just think how long the list will be when you actually use the rig! LOL

Thanks! We had a month to get it ready and some $ to play with. Most of what I did was based on reading these forums. Very appreciative of all the great info here.

I would certainly add a TPMS to your list of must have's

TST 507 is great

Here's another

We have a 16FQ also. Got tired of lifting up the bed to get access to the storage area. Removed the front panel and made two hinged doors. I'll see if I can attach a picture. Also added a medicine cabinet in the bathroom.

Really like the doors under the bed. I know my wife has a hard time lifting the bed.

In talks with dealer about a new 16FQ. Part of deal is to yank out the 6 cu fridge and replace with a Dometic 6 cu AC/DC compressor fridge. Also a Fantastic fan in bathroom.

Did you come up with an easy bolt on dual tank platform?
I keep thinking going to a 30# tank would be easiest for me. I think a 40# would be too tippy when using the current tank holder.

I have not gotten around to the extra tank yet. I thought about a 30, but I don't think the cover I bought would fit, but it would work with two 20s.

My next upgrades will be a TPMS and two 6 volt deep cycle batteries.

How did you attach medicine cabinet to back wall? I want to add that, but am afraid screws will go through wall!

A two bottle base is not that hard to install on the Pup...no welding.

Here's something you'll eventually think about.

I bolted on a tray for my Honda 2000i generator at the tongue. You could use it for another battery - Why wouldn't you just put on another 12?

I updated to a bigger (remote start) generator and moved it to the back bumper after removing the swing down carrier.

When you start thinking about better tires you might consider 15" rims. I run 15" car tires on my Pup.
