I'am sorry, I miss under stood the diagram. This might be something else to check,I have a ladder on the back of my camper, not too long ago I was installing a flag pole along side of the ladder, when reached the top of the roof on the edge where the roof and the exterior wall meet, I noticed a small bumb right on the edge, when I put my hand on it I found that a screw had backed out of the side wall and up under the roof material. I suggest to check around the very edge of your roof. I noticed on mine the edge is loose all the way around.

I have a 28A with leak in the same area. However it only leaks with the slide out. It is at the shop now. I'll let you know what they find.

My 28A+ Leaks Also

Ive had my 28A+ in for Warranty twice now... except mine leaks on the Right hand side of the Bunk Slide. They told me that they had to replace the seals.

This may sound funny, but is it Condensation? I had what I thought was a leak in the same area on our 07 Surveyor. Then on our New years eve trip, temps went down to 20 degrees and we had condensation all around the base of the walls. But while in storage the trailer wasn't level and it "puddled". We have vent covers,so now we leave the vents open, one window open about 1/4 inch and we haven't seen any water anywhere in the trailer since.

I have the exact same problem on a 26k. Get on the roof and check the seal with the slide out in. It will look fine with it out, then when you slide it in when the slide out hits the seal it will open a crack if the seal is bad. This will let water enter the interior of the trailer behind the seal. This is what was wrong with mine. Unfortunately I caught it too late and have floor damage. The seal had broken right above the area the sky light would hit as it was being slid in or out. The dealer where I am trading mine in at tomorrow, thinks the pressure from the raised sky light damaged the seal as it slides over it.

Hey camping4fun, to FRF, glad you found us. sorry to hear about your problem. If you don't mine, I would like to make a suggestion I know you are new and this is the same thing I did when I joined the forum, I responded to a post that was over a year old. If you have and issue with your camper or try to aid someone with a problem, Check the date when the thread was last addressed, if the thread is old kinda like this one then you may what to start a new one. By starting a new thread it would be nice and fresh and could get a faster responds. You will find in a sort time that most active members stay on the front page where all the most current posting are. As far as the older stuff, it's good that it is there because we can go back and recheck on problems and how to solve them. Please don't take this wrong, I am just trying to help. Happy Camping and enjoy the Forum, the members here are fantastic.
