Just put a deposit down on a Gray Wolf 26DBH

As the title says we just put down a deposit on a 2016 Gray Wolf 36DBH. We have a pick up day of Oct 13th. This is our first trailer and the family is so excited that it is going to be difficult to wait the 2 weeks.

Any suggestions for a newbie are welcomed.
Thanks.
Jason

We have a 2016 26DBH which is our first RV. During the PDI check the water pressure with the pump, not just city water. Our unit had a kinked water line coming from the pump. Also check the fridge on propane, I had to fix ours as it would not ignite. I've replaced all the lights with LED, added a Maxxair cover over the bathroom fan, installed an inverter, installed a 2nd coax connection outside so we have have satellite TV in the main room and bedroom and replaced the 12v battery with 6v.

If you plan to use Dish with the OEM coax output (with 12v outlet) above the TV mount it won't work. You will have to get it replaced with one that has an output for the antenna and another for satellite.

We've put about 4500 miles on it since June with trips planned the next 4 of 5 weekends before we have to winterize. For the price I'm really happy with it!

Congrats, we brought ours home last week. I had one LED pancake light break the second day. I called Forest River and they had a replacement to me in two days.

Have you had any trouble with the shower walls? I am assuming yours are also the "wallpaper?" I didn't realize this in the excitement of the purchase and am kind of nervous about the walls holding up. Many Thanks

I have the same camper-it's a nice camper and is perfect for my needs(wife, 2 boys, dog). So far small things-leaky water connection by water heater, blown exterior speaker). I've enjoyed it this year and look forward to next year as its now winterized.

Congrats! We just bought a 26DBH in sept. Took it straight from the dealer and headed out on or first camping trip. The family loves it. We have camped out 2x so far and are doing 2 more trips this month. A Couple of minor issues, 2 pancake LED Lights broke first time out, exterior light out, and Sani flush out line leaked under the bathroom vanity and flooded the bathroom. Our camping world took care of it with in two weeks. And all is good. Don't let the minor things bother you if you experience any, as the family fun will always out way them. As I stated, FR and camping world took care of them quickly. Enjoy it and let the memories begin.

Camping world had to order them from forest river. I have not been able to find them after market anywhere. But it's still under warranty.

We love ours. Have had no issues and enjoyed every moment spent camping in it. Congratulations on the new trailer.
