Longitude power awning not working

Ok I go to my site and there is tree close so I opened my awning and everything was fine (awning wise) I retracted it to move the trailer back a little to clear the tree. I set up the trailer (everything is level) went to extend my awning and I get nothing. Checked the fuse and it's fine bur I replaced it anyways and still nothing. The only thing in the downloadable manual is emergency retracting it. Can anyone help?

Battery charge, power hookups? I’m sure you checked, just saying... start with the small stuff.

That's funny that's the same thing I asked and triple checked. I even waited till this morning and checked again thinking maybe it was the battery but nothing. Had a freind reach up at the motor and pull a little while I was hitting the switch and it started working so maybe it just rolled up to tight.

Strange, you didn’t even hear a motor sound when trying to extend.

Sounds like there may be a "dead spot" in the awning motor. Your friend giving it a little "tug" must have gotten it just past the dead spot. That's probably one of those things that may happen periodically when the motor stops on the dead spot or.......it may never happen again.

Yeah was thinking the same thing. Kinda like the old starters that you had to crawl under the car and tap with a hammer.
