We have a 2016, aside from small issues with loose water connections-it's been great. Plenty of room for our family(2 adults, 2 kids, 1 dog).

274dbh

We also have a 2016 274dbh and love it. We have had small issues, but nothing that couldn't be fix at home. The trailer pulls great but is on the heavy side when fully loaded. I pull it with a diesel and you still notice a pretty good load.
Great trailer though, lots of room.

[QUOTE=RND;Also, if you buy new, make sure to look through the manufacturer paperwork for the extended warranty. I wasn't made aware of it until it was too late. You have ten (10) days to get in the extended warranty info in for the manufacturer to give you another year, I believe, for dirt cheap. [/QUOTE]

The last I heard was you have 90 days to get the extended warranty. I got mine after 6 months. Give Ronda a call at 574-534-3164, she handles the 2nd year warranty registrations, she may let you in. Many dealers never mention it, mine didn't either. They just sign the registration form (and cash your check) and send it back to you if you are accepted. I forgot to add that appliances have their own warranty (like Dometic I believe is 3 years) so even if you don't get the FR 2nd year warranty you are still covered by supplier warranties for more than 1 year.

Ok, thanks. I'll give them a call. Appreciate it.

(I think the new 2017 26DBH has fiberglass siding over wood framing but not over aluminum framing like pricier units...)

A few years ago, for the price of a new entry-level stick & tin Grey Wolf 26DBH we got a USED lightweight 6,400 lb. (dry) Prime Time 3150 bunkhouse with 2-slides, aluminum frame & fiberglass construction, ROOMY outdoor kitchen, and multiple upgrades like aluminum rims, power stabilizers, 8.0 cu. ft. fridge, etc. We sometimes camp for 2-3 weeks at a time so I like that our 3 boys have their own slide-out bunk room w/door = more privacy for us I also LOVE our big outdoor kitchen especially for a quick meal when we arrive at our destination tired & hungry...

We waited until a local dealer had a big sale on new PT units, same as ours, which drove-down the price of our used unit to CL, eBay, etc. pricing (about $20K) However, unlike private sellers, our dealer provided a FREE pressurized leak test & re-caulking, 2.5 hour PDI & "FREE" Equalizer 4 1200 WDH & installation.

However, before making an offer, I purposefully went after work & spent 2 hours looking the unit over in HEAVY rains shining a bright flashlight into every cubby to make certain there were ZERO signs of prior water damage. The dealer then provided a 2.5 hour PDI adjusting all slide-out & awning tracking, replacing the battery, CO2 detector, etc.

Before our first trip I replaced the used tires with Maxxis ($600) and used mattress w/comfy Dynasty ($300). New OEM mattresses & tires are crap so I would have replaced them within a year anyway... A couple years later I replaced our 8 cu. ft. RV fridge with a $300 11.8 cu. ft. Whirlpool & $100 inverter. New fridge is ROOMY (2 gal. of milk in door) & cools to 38 in one hour...

We have camped for 3 seasons without any issues. They say to buy your 3rd RV first, so you're not tempted to upgrade every other year... Our floorplan suits are needs very well & yet was within our budget. If we upgrade it will be for a MH to make long trips more convenient, not another TT or 5er...

It's an option to go with Fiberglass side and a separate option to go with a fiberglass nose. I believe it's still stick construction though.

That's why I was intrigued by the Vibe, albeit too late for me.

My wife and I just bought a 2017 274DBH at the RV show in Boston and we are excited to have her shipped to our seasonal campsit Hampstead,NH in May. It was the cheapest version of the layout we wanted.

I won't be able to comment more until delivery in May but they told us they streamlined the fabric and upgrade choices in order to secure a cheaper price.

Nice! How did you get the jack to align with the A-Frame holes after you rotated it? I did the same, but could not get the bolt holes to line up correctly.

Thanks!

The holes all won't line up perfectly. 2 did for me and those torqued down good....it's not going anywhere.
