Moisture in bathroom

We were packing our 19 Alpha wolf up after this weekends camp out and I noticed a fair amount of moisture around the ceiling of the bathroom. We showered the night before, but seems to be excessive. Right at the ceiling. It was raining pretty good that morning.

Any thoughts?

Do you have an exhaust fan in the bath? If so did you run it during your shower?

Rainy conditions = high humidity = high dew point normally. If the roof is cooler and, therefore, has a lower dew point than the high humidity, high dew point air around it you will get condensation. Whether or not your trailer roof being colder than ambient air is something to worry about I do not know but that is what is happening.

If it is the only area of the trailer doing this then likely you may have a temperature difference in the bathroom relative to the rest of the trailer which could be caused by a number of things (roof vent seal for example).....

We bought a 2018 Grey Wolf last Oct and one of the first things I did after camping in the rain (first trip), was put a vent cover over the bathroom vent. Pretty easy install, and worth it from my perspective to be able to run fan anytime.

We have a vent fan, did not run it for 2 reasons, very cold, and our showers were short enough to barely get wet. But I will use the fan next time and keep an eye on it.
