I pull a 26DBH with my 2013 F-150 and I only use the stock mirrors. However I've heard some states require them.

check out the CIPA line of slip on tow mirrors,,, find them on Amazon

I had a pair for a Dodge van TV I got rid of last year... they slipped on, held tight, did not shake and were easily removable AND cost $39 for a pair

I think with your trailer you can probably get away with your current mirrors. Your trailer has a smaller footprint in the front. The pup is only 85". That is 11 inches less than say a 26dbh which is 96".

I will advise it is not so much the length that really matters, it is the width. You want to be able to see the trailers tires/full length of the trailer while running, whether that means stock or tow mirrors are needed to see past the width at the front.

I would say not with an F150. I have a Canyon and need them but a canyon is about 8 inches narrower.

Thanks so much for all your help! Will check out the CIPA mirrors if we need them. First-timers, so much to learn.

If you can't see down the side of your trailer in your mirrors, you'll need them. Otherwise, you'll spend more time watching your mirrors than you will watching the road ahead of you.

I just ordered the CIPA mirrors off amazon for my 2004 F150 today. They were $27.49 with Prime free 2 day shipping.

I haven't used them yet, but I purchased a set of rugged ridge mirrors for Jeep Wranglers. The fit is nice and sturdy, will be using for our upcoming road trip to Florida.
