New 26 bh

Hello all. New to this travel trailer world. Lots of tenting adventures before but now we have a trailer. Family of four with a 7 and 4 yr old. Fell in love with the 26 bh and pulled the trigger. Got it on the 20th of August and been out 6 times already. Really been a great experience for our family.

So far so good with the trailer. Bent hinges on cooktop were easily fixed and one loose water connection. Also had to reinforce top bunk. Click image for larger version

ID:	123523Our dealer didn't impress but the trailer is great. Hopefully no warranty issues.

Anyways, we are from Ontario Canada. Just joined to get and hopefully share information about our trailer and adventures.

Thank you very much. It's been a great addition. Hopefully 1 more trip before I put it away for winter.

Dave.

The colours both inside and out were one of the things we liked best about the grey. The layout suits us as well while keeping us fairly light weight. Also the window positions and lack of bedroom wall make it very bright. Maybe one last kick at the can this weekend. It has already snowed up here and temps are at or near freezing overnight. Only weekend for a while the boy has no hockey going on. We shall see

Dave.

Welcome! I bought our first camper this year, 26bh and we love it. Just winterized it yesterday for my first ever maintenance job. It's way scarier in my head than in reality lol

Just put ours away today. My friend we rv with is a mechanic so he is winterizing and storing for $350. Can't beat that. Now hopefully a good icefishing season until next camping season.

Bulldog. How has the 26 bh been? Any surprises? Anything u don't like? Anything you really do like?

I chose this one for the simplicity and weight. I like how naturally light it is with all of the windows and no bedroom wall. My only dislike so far is the lack of cleanup from factory or dealer. Lots of sawdust and metal pieces and screws/staples under the bunks and in the storage area.

All in all very happy with it thus far. Our dealer has no customer service. Been waiting 3 months for 2 hinges that were bent over the cooktop. Once we signed on the dotted line we were forgotten.

Dave.

For reinforcing the bunk I replaced some of the shorter screws that weren't biting that much or completely missed there mark. Especially on the open side where they only secure to the cabinet.

Glad you love yours. We got ours in July of '16 and we love it. Just went out Easter weekend and we're planning another trip in May. With another 2 trips planned from last year too.

Happy Camping!

Put some swagman fork mounts on the flip down rack and added a heated mattress pad. Had the bikes mounted on the spare but didn't trust it. The mattress pad is for the chilly early and late season nights.

Congrats! We've had ours for over a year and have had a lot of fun in it. Unfortunately, we had the subfloor issue involved in the TSB and it has been in the shop for the last couple months getting repaired. Overall though, we have had a great time hitting 28 campgrounds in the first year. Other than the floor, we had no major issues.
