New here new 26 dbh

Well after looking from a far for a while and looking at what options we had and didn't have we finally decided to pull the trigger on a 2019 Cherokee 26dbh. I really wanted something smaller due to me having a Ecodiesel for the tow rig but ultimately this just checked all the boxes for what we wanted.

I do have to take it back for a warranty repair as the usb and lights in the cupholder of the couch do not work but I think I will make another trip or two first to see what other bugs show up.

I installed a 12v inverter so mama can use her mini Keurig knockoff before generator hours if need be but still need to investigate wiring that up a little more functional.

One thing I haven't figured out is the lights are they LED? Obviously the strip tape lights are but what about the rest? I cant seem to figure out how they open. I would assume they are LED but also wouldn't be surprised.

I have not put a TV in yet but was trying to figure out if theres a way to utilize the built in DVD player when the TV would be on the outside mount?

I look forward to all your knowledge thanks you for having me

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. On most rigs now days the interior lights are LED, some rigs like mine came with the porch light and scare lights incandescent (I change them out)

Welcome! I have a 274dbh and it came with led interior lights. I pulled one of the covers to check. Is your ecodiesel a Ram? I tow with a 2014 Ram Hemi with 8spd.

Welcome to the group, I am not sure about your travel trailer but my Arctic Wolf had led lights. I ordered a few spares from Amazon.

They were "Facon 4 1/2'' Round Dimmable 12V Puck Light Cabinet light with Switch 4W 280 Lumens (Nature White)" and some 3 1/2" models.

The 3 1/2" ones have eighteen LEDs in them and use 4 watts or 1/3 amps per light as compared to the incandescent bulbs that were 1 amp per bulb.

As far as the chair lights make sure you check the fuse panel, I was missing a fuse for my awning.

Welcome to the forum. I have a 2017 274DBH, which has the round lights with the little punch button in the middle. They are LED. I'm not by my trailer right now, but if I remember correctly, you either twist the lens counter-clockwise to remove or just pop it off by pulling on the edge. They are not too hard to open. That little punch button sometimes gets stuck, so I have to pop it off to fix. It is usually because someone punches it off to the side.

I have installed a 32" TV and have used it inside with the DVD player. I believe on the outside where the TV mount is, there is a hookup for the DVD video too.

This is a great place to get answers and share information. I love the modification sharing, there are a lot of great ideas out there.

Good luck and enjoy!!

Yes sir I was pleasantly surprised with how well it does with this anchor behind it. First trip towing I was shocked to see I got nearly 14 mpg
