Well with you being 6'2" and me being 5' 11" I guess that explains why you run into a lot of things that I wouldn't

f1100 - I did a search and found that some fixes have been purposed for this problem. I like the placing of foam bricks between the fridge door and the compartment door.

Thanks

BTW - speaking of this refridge - if you have the time I suggest you read my 04-06-12 posting in the General Travel Trailer and FW Discussion forum under Cedar Creek. It is titled "My turn to rant"

I still haven't fully gotten over that one yet!

I started a thread on the fridge door not staying closed. I took a couple pieces of advice from others and bought a few spring loaded curtain rods to hold against whatever is in fridge. Then put on this http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1...&storeId=10051

Works like a charm! Had a 30 pack of beer, 12 pack of soda and water in the fridge on the way to the CG this past weekend and didn't lose any and the door was nice and tight when we got there. And we went down some rough roads.

Wagon - do you think the rods help more than the latch does?

Two of the three reviews give it a thunbs down.

We just purchased a 2013 Coachmen Freedom Express 310BHDS with the outdoor kitchen and we love it. We have only used it over Memorial Day weekend, but so far so good. The only downfall we discovered was we put all of our "adult" beverages out there and it rained 80% of the weekend. Need to keep a couple "emergency" ones inside. Live and learn.
