Outside light

We set up our new Grey Wolf 25BH a couple days ago and are unable to turn off our outside light by the door. I'm assuming the switch is the one next to the one that turns on the inside lights. It is probably a defective switch. Anyone else have the same problem? Any solution other than getting a new switch?

If it was me, I'd take the switch out of the wall and disconnect one of the
wires just to make sure you are talking about the right switch.
If it's stuck on I -might- try bending something inside it but I'm a tinkerer by
trade. Remember we're still talking about electricity which can
produce heat at times. Don't mess around too much.
If it's a bad switch, get a replacement.
A replacement switch is cheap and an easy swap.
Should be able to find one at most any RV parts counter.
Take your old one with you if possible.

Good luck and happy camping!

Our 28bh has the two switches, the one that is on the left is for the outside light. Let us know what you end up doing.

Same Problem

We are having the same problem with our security light on the Cherokee 39P - the switch is next to the sliding patio door but we can't get the light to turn off. My guess is that there is a switch somewhere else that got turned on but we sure can't find it or figure it out!

Thanks all! I won't be able to look at it again for a week as I had to return home for work. My wife & daughter will have to put up with it until I get back to the camper. Will post my results when I have the problem solved. Appreciate the input!

Does your 39p have a remote for the slide out and awning? If so the remote may be overiding the security light.

That was it - thanks! We called tech support, they wanted us to tow it in, called the dealership, didn't even finish getting the question out and they told us it was the remote.
