Ive got new Greywolf 27RR....First thing...lift the forward mattress pad and plywood up and in far left corner is water heater both gas/electric...a cord n cap extends out of it and you will see a receptacle for the heater...if its plugged in unplug it...use only the gas fired portion...it works better and faster and you cant burn it out if it aint plugged in. Get a good torque wrench and check the tire nuts to spec given on trailer nameplate data exterior near water heater....get a tube of good silicone caulk and encapsulate every electrical wire group as the extend from walls into open space under trailer and secure as needed...check all clamps on underside water and toilet piping. That iron pipe with the rust on it was galvanized or black iron at one time and should be rustoleumed from tanks to copper risers. These chasis sit for months in Indiana in the weather befor assembly. Notice in your manualthat there is a warrenty card for every piece of equipment included....go over you unit with a fine tooth come , learn operation, maintenance and write a sequence of operation....Greywolf with our two Harleys in the garage have gone 18,000 miles since last November..Carry two spare tires and a chock you can use to back the trailer up on to change tires.have fun ! juice

I love the electric water heater and if you make a check list of things to do setting up and departing you will not forget. We have the electric on for a family of four and we have very little issues, when we get to the morning and everyone wants a shower, we hit the DSI switch in the camper and then it is dual heated and we get everyone through with a wonderful hot shower and enough hot water to wash dishes.

Wow , I have same trailer for 4 or 5 months , spent about 65 nites in it . Kinda like it . We leave the water heater on electric all the time WHY Not ?
We removed the battery box and built a tool box across the front that holds two six volts and a bunch of tools and assort junk . Do you have the factory rack on rear ?
