Power Jack Quit working on day 2

Finally took ownership of our 2016 Cherokee Grey Wolf 26DBH on June 9, 2015 and brought it home. Everything work as intended. Took the camper the next day to storage and the pushed the button on the power jack to raise the camper off the ball of the truck and nothing happened. I finally had to use the wrench and manually jack the camper off the truck. I checked fuses, battery power powered lights in the camper and could not find anything causing issue. Any thoughts?

My tongue jack has a breaker wired inline. Mne is about 1 foot from the battery. You might want to look for one on yours?

snug the jack mounting bolts. these ground the jack. there is supposed to be a star washer under at least one bolt between the flange and the coupler.

A friend of mine bought a new 2015 TT from a dealer that is about 90 miles from us. When he got home he placed the unit in the back yard and proceeded to unhook it. The same thing happened to him, the electric tongue jack would not work. He called me as this was his first camper and wanted to know what to do. I informed him to just go sit on the porch with a cold beer until I got there. When I got there and started to help him troubleshoot the problem the first thing I noticed was that the part of the jack that was bolted to the trailer tongue was powder coated and that the three bolts for the jack did not have any washers under them. I removed one bolt, scraped off the powder coating, and replaced the bolt tightening it with a little force. The jack worked! How it worked at the dealers will be a mystery. I did go buy the star washers and re-do all three bolts so they would all have a good ground.

I know it has been months since I have been on here but I wanted to reply with what we found wrong with the jack. There was a fuse (glass tube fuse) behind the jack (took the dealer 15 minutes to find) that had blown. They told me these fuses blow all the time and actually changes it out an I now have a regular fuse like what is in the fuse panel of the camper. They also changed the location so it is easier to find and change if needed.

There is a line marked with paper on the bottom of the jack extension. That line is supposed to be fully retracted. If you raise it beyond that it will lock there and you will have to get the manual crank to free it. My dealer warned me if this and I had to do it once
